The project

A grounded, contemporary identity for a Nigerian producer growing in scale, reach and commercial ambition.

Positioning a growing Nigerian producer as a confident, responsible force in modern agribusiness.

From local operation to a wider ambition.

Founded in Iwoye-Ijesha, Makaiza Farms grew from oil palm planting and crude palm kernel oil production into a diversified oils and fats business. Its expanding workforce, product range and distribution network needed a brand presence equal to that progress.

Business challenge

Express industrial scale and commercial credibility while preserving the company’s connection to agriculture, people and responsible growth.

Make growth feel grounded.

The identity balances agricultural cues with a clear, contemporary visual system. Natural greens signal the company’s source and sustainability commitments, while a direct wordmark and structured layouts communicate control, quality and readiness for larger markets.

Identity principles

Rooted in place. Built for industry. Clear across products, partnerships and corporate communication.

Visual system

A flexible identity for production and partnership.

The system gives Makaiza Farms one recognisable voice across company material, product communication and stakeholder conversations. It supports a diverse portfolio without losing the clarity of the parent brand.

Outcome

A stronger platform for the next stage of growth.

The new direction gives Makaiza Farms one confident expression across corporate communication, product conversations and stakeholder relationships. It supports larger-scale growth while retaining a clear connection to agriculture and place.

Evidence

  • A coherent parent-brand system
  • Clearer communication across products and partnerships
  • A presentation aligned with industrial ambition
